For an entire century, the Supremo Consejo del Grado 33 para Filipinas and Gran Logia Nacional de Filipinas have stood at the forefront of excellence, unity, and progress in the Philippines.

Francmasoneria sa Pilipinas

Sa aming pangunguna, taimtim naming pinapanatili ang kasaysayan ng Francmasoneria sa Pilipinas, na laging nagtataglay ng katatagan at pagmamahal sa bayan.

Sa bawat hakbang ng ating paglalakbay, pinatitibay ng Gran Logia Nacional de Filipinas ang kanyang paninindigan na ang dugong Pilipinong Mason ay patuloy na dumadaloy, nagpapakita ng tapang at katatagan upang itaguyod ang kanyang kalayaan at dignidad. Kami ay nagpapatuloy sa aming misyon na maging isang tanggulan ng karunungan, katuwiran, at paglilingkod sa bayan.

Sa aming pangunguna, taimtim naming pinapanatili ang kasaysayan ng Francmasoneria sa Pilipinas, na laging nagtataglay ng katatagan at pagmamahal sa bayan. Hindi kailanman magpapasakop ang ating kasaklawan sa anumang dayuhan o banyagang impluwensya. Kami ay tapat sa aming tungkulin na itaguyod ang tunay na kalayaan at kasarinlan ng ating Inang Bayan – Pilipinas.

Sa puso ng aming pagmamahal sa bayan, lubos naming ginugunita ang mga bayaning Pilipinong Mason na nag-alay ng kanilang buhay at lakas upang labanan ang mga dayuhang pwersa at isulong ang karapatan ng ating mga kababayan. Ang kanilang mga pangalan at alaala ay patuloy na nagbibigay inspirasyon sa amin upang magpatuloy sa landas ng katuwiran at katapatan.

Sa bawat sandali, kami ay may pagpupunyagi na mapalawak ang kaalaman at pag-unawa sa mga prinsipyong masonic na naglalayong magbigay ng tulong at gabay sa aming mga kasamahan at sa ating lipunan bilang kabuuan.

Founder

July 25, 1893, Modestia Lodge was founded in Quiapo and had its VM Antonio Salazar, PV Alvaro Nepomuceno, SV Epifanio Saguil, Secretary Jose Reyes Tolentino. Timoteo A. Paez as co-founder. November 30, 1903, Sinukuan Lodge was founded in Tondo. The following acted as: VM Don Felipe Buencamino, Sr., PV Timoteo A. Paez, SV Marciano Ramirez, Secretary Daniel Morelos and Pablo de Palma as Treasurer. Historically, Primera Luz Filipina is Spanish for “First Light of the Philippines,” which was the name of the first lodge. The existence of “disparate” Masonic Bodies gave rise to numerous grand jurisdictions. Also, preeminent, in addition to the Gran Oriente Espanol, were lodges, councils, groups and clubs. April 2, 1900 The organization of a society known as the Sojourners’ Club. Elected president was Harry Staford a military doctor assigned in Malacañang Palace as a surgeon to Gen. Arthur MacArthur. The said club was composed of men who were believed to be Masons in good standing and its objectives were to promote fellowship among the brethren and assist those overtaken by adversity of afliction. At first, the meetings were purely social, but the deep-seated object was to organize a lodge, and many earnest conversations were held touching upon the subject. The venue was usually held at the office of the Manila Times (publisher of Dailies and Tabloids), at others at the Hotel Oriente.
